The 'Keep Calm and Carry On' poster was a motivational poster in a series of posters, produced by the British government in 1939. The posters had all bright colored backgrounds and a symbolic crown of King George VI along with a simple yet effective font (See remake 'Keep Calm and Carry On' poster). The posters were intended to raise the morale of the British public, threatened with widely predicted mass air attacks on major cities. Although almost 2.5 million copies of the 'Keep Calm and Carry On' poster were printed, this one was hardly ever publicly displayed and was little known until a copy was rediscovered in 2000 and displayed at a bookshop. Pretty soon, customers were asking about where they could buy a similar poster, and the bookshop's owner decided to reprint the poster. Little did he know how fast the 'Keep Calm' craze would spread over the internet. This beautiful story inspired us to make a remake of the 'Keep Calm and Carry On' poster.
